stay pure to your love

Lance Armstrong has been caught in a very big drug scandal.
Yes everyone in the Tour appears to have been doing it, yes he's done a ton of good for cancer; these are some of the reasons people will still support him (see this article: http://www.ctvnews.ca/sports/scandal-hurts-armstrong-but-doesn-t-destroy-image-1.994530 )  After reading this I realized excusing or ignoring his drug wins is wrong -> I just "unliked" him on fb as an athlete.  How can you like the athletic side of him any more?  The cancer supporter side is still likeable, but isn't even this good side now largely due to giving cancer patients false hope, since it's based on dope?
Seriously - Drugs and therefore Lance Armstrong should have no place in sports.

I realize (& think it is unfortunate) that there is so much more wrong with "big" sports then just Lance!  Maybe much less (money & fame) needs to be on the line.  It has gotten away from the true meaning, benefits and fun of sports when drugs are this rampant.  I hope it can still be undone... but I don't think it can be if we sweep it under the carpet.  So don't "whatever", cheating even if it is Lance Armstrong!

Please keep your pure love of your sport and be true to yourself and those who support you, that would be living strong!
